I've been sitting on these pictures since attending the 2009 Model intro a few months ago. It was my first big intro and other then bad weather, it was a cool expierence!

The new Razor S model sure caught everyones attention and for good reason. The now 60 inch wide model comes ready to rip with adjustable Fox shocks and new control arms.

The new Polaris Sportsman was 99% redesigned for 2009 and features a 70 hp powerplant set inside a brand new chassis

The special edition units were pretty sharp looking! The lifted unit in the back is not a special edition...:p

The new Ranger HD is my dream UTV for work:p Power steering, self leveling shocks and sharp looks!

The new attachments for the Ranger actually work, and I was very impressed by how easy they attached and function

I admit, when I first saw the scoop and grapple, I chuckled and thought "Yeah right"...but I will have them both, along with the new Ranger HD here when they are available

This set up will come in handy when working at our hunting camp

Back dragging the gravel was a snap, and as easy as if I were doing it with my tractor!

Thad Josey of ATVrider magazine lifts the wheels effortlessly with the new power of the Sportsman

Even with 100 pounds of sand strapped to the front rack, the new power steering worked flawlessly. The demonstration they gave with comparison models showed just how well it is designed.

Colby from C&D Racing put the Sportsman through its paces

The 850 is a powerhouse and fast as all get out!

The package from Polaris on this model is spot on. It has most add on's in place for the 4x4 crowd and is trail ready!

As muddy as it was, the Sportsman 850 had enough grunt and traction to claw its way into the air and landed light! The suspension really worked well.

The machine was purpose built to give the most power and speed in its class.

The braking and engine braking systems are unreal.

The Polaris folks that were with us thought they needed to move these logs when Colby puled up to them on the Outlaw IRS model....before they knew what was going on, Colby was already over them:devil:

The IRS really shines on the trail. While it may never develop a huge race following, it is at home where the terrain gets nasty!

The Sportsman is deffinatley not your old Polaris model, the narrow seat and other refinements put this model back in the running for top spot in the 4x4 market. Unless another big model is unvieled, I believe your looking at the 4x4 of the year for 2009

The camo Ranger is now not alone in this color scheme as the Razr model can be had in it as well. The camo really works well for hunters and outdoorsman and I can attest to how well it holds up.

Better front end protection should help stave off some damage as you run through the woods and trails

The Ranger may not be the sport model, however it can take you almost anywhere if solid driving and common sense is employed

While teh standard Razr model is intended for the trails, the 60 inch wide Razr S is ready for open spaces and higher speeds.

The added weight of the heavier components on teh S model had the Polaris engineers adding a few more ponies to this model. The standard razr will still out accelrate it, however the S model has a higher top speed of 63 mph stock!

Colby had never driven a razr, and after a few minutes in the S model, he was ripping through corners and really making the unit fly!

We really did not get a chance to hammer down on teh 2009 Outlaw as teh weather shut down the MX portion of the intro. There are many changes that could help make this atv a contender, and a few that has me still scratching my head. More details and reviews will be on the homepage over the next few weeks as we bring the information to the public.
