Thinking of adding some power to our Eton viper 90.The engine is pretty much stock and a local dealer carries the technigas pipes.Anyone have experience with these?

never knew of anyone to have anyluck witht the technigas on a 90..you'd be bettr off with a stock apex pipe from west coast quads .i think they are 125.00 on ebay or a stock drr 90 take off.

the techni-gas will not perform well on your almost stock Eton, It is a good pipe but only works well on highly modded engines with extreme clutching, turning well over 10,000 rpm. It does not make any power in stock Rpm range , would most likely slow you down . This has been our experience.

I use one on a drx 50 and it runs pretty good, but havn't tired other pipes. It pretty easily outruns our other well built 50 after about 75'. It needs more engagement than I could get out of a stock clutch so I now have a hit clutch but havn't installed it yet.

My plans were to freshen the motor and go with a bigger piston and cylinder. I'm not sure how big I will go but probably 90 or 96ccs...I also have a 28mm carb I picked up a while ago and some boyeseen reeds...What would be a good pipe to go with the above mods?..We don't race just looking to build a quick trail machine for tearing up the local gravel pits.

I agree.
The etons I built using the technigas turned 12800 rpm's.

Yep, my DRR 70 is making its biggest power between 9500-11500 with the technigas pipe.

Where do you find these pipes. By what you guys have stated . I am needing a high rpm pipe for a rigid frame drag bike. With a ported cylinder an high compresion head. What do these pipes cost

I got mine at Snyder Motorsports a while back, but I would think there are some sponsors on here that have them on stock. I am thinking it was less than $300... It is a great pipe IMO especially if your kids keeps it tapped all the time. JR

Gary at G-Force and I both sell these pipes.
