how well does a Quadtech carbon fiber hood fit on maier race plastic and do you think it would look good on orange plastic

id answer that for ya but as soon as i got mine a mounting pod broke off in my hands. id send it back and get a free one but im canadian and the customs would suck and the wait would be even worse. great customer service and a great product i just got a faulty one. im in the midst of fixing it with fiberglass.

do you have to cut the plastic and then screw it on or how does it work

on an R with factory plastics,or a three piece front, it screws on where the OEM nose piece would be.............so if you have a one piece Maier nose........i guess you will have to cut out a portion, mark the attachment points,,,,,,,,, and screw the Quad tech hood on .......

that would probably make the front of it weak wouldn't it any other pics of 400's with this hood

Weak???? that is my wifes R and she had it completely nosed into the ground...........not a scratch..........



this is my 400 with the quadtech hood for the 400.........and instructions come with it so you know whare to cut to retain the integrity of the plastic strentgh.........

lol...k enoguh of that. get whatcha want. they are al good. i personally don't like the looks of the Feather ones...but to each is own

theres a member here that got banned with a orange and blue 400ex... it has a blue quadtech hood on it looks awesome... his aol name is puff5er if u wanna ask him on there for the pic... i can't find it to post for u but it looks AWESOME!!!!!
