well, 400ex tires are good, they wont pack up bad, and are a nice tire, but something like spidertracs, realetors, or so will work better, u can try gettin a larger front sproket to calm down the power delivery a lil

Well, I dislike the bandits... They aren't a good snow tire, the treads are too close together, they are a better hard pack, road tire. The stockers do well in the snow, The trail wolf's work well too.

Maxxis 4=Snow tires might do the trick, theres no such thing as snow in louisiana ;)

Yea my buddy has the bandits and they are hard as a rock, the cold doesnt make it any better either. But they do great in mud and hard pack and last forever.:macho

i was going to get them but figured i would never use them any more when snow is gone and there isnt much snow here all the time and stock tires can be used all year round

I got the answer! New tires :huh :p For snow I like Mud dogs or tires with that similar tread pattern. I know these one tires you can put them on backwirds specially for snow. I agree with the bandits, I also dislike them. I road a banshee with them in the snow and I wasn't getting no where.

You quad doesn't suck, Get rid of those bandits! and new shocks arn't going to cure your problem.

any non 4x4 machine is not ment for the snow. keep the 400ex, 250r's, etc. nice and warm outta the snow!

sur traks reversed in the snow, (direction for sand) works great, it spins way less in the snow as long as its not pinned

Me and my dad used my 400 to get back to my hunting stand. We rode double and it went pretty good throught the snow. We have about 8 inches We had to go through a couple water holes though at it made the front tires freeze up when it was sitting.

Hey Cory,

Cool website dude. Some of the best riding trail riding Ive done near here is on a railroad bed that stretches 8 miles between Galion and Mansfield, Ohio.

After four years of wanting, I finally got down to Wayne National Forest over the summer. It was a great time. The trail system covers so much area. It would be well worth your drive.

Later on man.
