What kind of tires should I get for harescramble racing and recreational riding. I do want these tires to last until next because I will be racing motocross. I just purchased regular holeshots but popped both of them within a month. I need a tire that will last long, get good hook-up and be track worthy. Any input is appreciated.

Im pushing for the kenda klaws because of cost reasons. Does anyone know how these handle and how much traction they get? I will consider razrs if I can get a good explanation on how they are better than the rest. Thanks for the help.

Depending on the course, +2 a-arms might be a tad wide for scrambles. But yeah go with razr rears and razr 2 front. Ideal for scrambles and cross country.

My vote is for the Kenda's. I run them in very similar conditions to what you describe - desert trails, woods, and even the MX track. They perform very well everywhere and wear very well too. The biggest benefit may be the cost which is usually about $20-30 less than a comparable ITP or Maxxis.

Take a look at the 21" Kenda Knarly XC. I love the Knarly tread pattern and rubber compound for XC racing. I have the 22s and run them on muddy, rutted courses, excellent traction and wear.

went with kenda's due to the fact that my whole property is all on sand and I wanted the ability to switch the tires around.
