I have a standard travel elka rear shock for a 450r that is comp. rebound and ride height adjustable. The shock is setup for a 185 lb xc rider. I dont know if the shock is in need of a service or not because i just bought it. I now have decided to go LT so this shock is no need to me. It does have a tear in the bumper( doesnt affect performace) and the paint on the spring has rubbed off in some areas because of a shock cover. Because of this im willing to let the shock go for $225.00 OBO. Let me know. thanks
