stripped

Ok went to put my new exhaust on loosened the nuts and one of the studs came out looks like the nut was crooked from something it was stock exhaust never messed with it anyone the stud is stripped on the nut side after getting it off...now when buying a new stud do i just tighten it into the exhaust manifold no loc tit or anything?

uhmm im not entirely sure how loc tight will hold up to the heat, but hand thread the stud in, then slip the header on, then tighten the bolt and once its tightened it will drive the stud in more. thats waht i did and worked just fine

to b safe i would jam two nuts against each other on the stud then turn the nut on the end to tighten the stud into the head. if you dont get it in deep enough then start tightening the nut it could pull threads out
