a-arm skid plates

I thinking about takin my a arm skid plates off because i think im getting alot of squeeking from them, anybody else have problems from the a-arm skid plates and are they really necessary to have. Bought it used with them on so i dont know, but i do know they are makin alot of noise.

I personally dont use them an i ride mostly gncc..if you ride in rocky counditions it might be a good idea to keep them but iv never heard of any of them making noise. I would look under them an if there are any big gashes in them i would keep them on.
