Coming to San Diego! Where 2 Ride?

I'm coming to San Diego Jan-Feb for a school and I'm thinking about bringing my Cannondale. How close to San Diego is there riding and racing? I race Harescrambles and need to get some good training time because as soon as I get back to MO the series begins. Anyone interested in doing some serious riding?

Ocatello Wells is supposed to be good. Glamis is fairly close too.

Otay Mesa and some stuff in El Cajon(Lark Canyon), Coral Canyon in Alpine, for in San Diego riding. i dont live back home anymore but my brother goes riding in Otay alot(15min drive from my folks house).

lotsa stuff down in Mexico...short drive, cheap beer and TACOS!

Go over the border to Canta Mar Dunes. It's about a 45 min. drive from the border towards Rosarito Mexico.


Make sure to take your reg. for the bike cause sometimes they hassel you a the border.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I hit Glamis last weekend. Had alot of fun. Broke my clutch cable on the Dale so I had to ride with out one. It didn't slow me down any, you just didn't want to stop too fast in front of me. Might try Ocitillo Wells this weekend, if anyone is interested.
