300ex with 450r carb??

ok seen you can use a 400ex carb on a 300ex bike.. also seen you can use a 450r carb on a 400ex.. but i hadn't see you can use a 450r carb on a 300ex.. can it be done or is it to big for a 300ex? would like to know.

a 450r carb would be overkill on stock - mild 300ex, it would kill bottom end.

now a large bore big valve 300ex that is built. i believe gains could be achieved

i believe 2muchquad has a 39mm fcr on his.

a 400ex carb on a 300ex is more then suffiecient for a noticeable gain

of course i am talking newer 450's with the 39mm fcr not the pre 06 with the 41mm

35mm fcr is about all you want on anything under 300cc's....
