Hey guys. I'm getting ready to build my first hybrid. I've done a lot of research on this site and must say, you guys seem to have this hybrid thing dailed in pretty well. I've found everything I needed to know about modding and cutting the frame to kickstart extentions, to simple jetting. No books written could provide this wealth of information.
Howevey in my many searches I havn't been able to find what you may think is a simple question.
Will a TRX450R header bolt up to a CRF450 Engine? Now I know neither of these headers will just bolt up and work without a flaw. I know that there will be cutting, welding, and bending involved, but can I use this header as a starting point?
Also I have been unable to locate a FCR carb. Will I be ok using an '06 TRX carb?
My Hybrid will be a 2003 400ex chassis, with all the goodies, using a 2004 CRF450 engine. Thanks for all the info.

P.S. check out our website. CYCLESRUS.NET we can save you guys big on used parts

i have a jb framed crf "400ex geometry" i used a 04-05 aluminum pro and it fit great. all i had to do was make a small bracket for the rear can. ive seen some pipes use the grab bar bolts to mount the can also.
