they had made some changes to the tracks (E-town nj) and
i told brandon to take it easy and roll the jumps we have all day..
well that went in one ear and out the other. as he come around a
turn (1st and only lap) he is on the gas and does'nt relize that the
down hill is a drop off and cases the landing and the quad cartwheel's
down the hill and he tumbles off the quad.
thank god he jumped right up. cause it looked really bad. he's
perfectly fine short of a scrape on his arm..all of his safety gear
worked. it's expensive but you got the best protection. parking
the 70 with it's bent steering stem.

Stupid stem!

Glad to hear he is OK though! Hopefully it will be a good lesson learned. I like it when good lessons don't cost too much or hurt too much.

sounds like a good time to upgrade the stem to a sturdy cromoly anti-vibe stem , maybe even a stem brace support.

Doesnt it just make you sick to your stomach to see your kids ball it up??The faster they get, the harder they fall .

LOL Trust me... I totally know how you feel! :eek2: :p
These kids are getting faster and riding harder ,thanks to having minis improving over the years. I get sick to my stomach EVERY race and I say a prayer at them all as well.

Thank's for all the replies.. i am actually glad i did not get
it on video, if his mom saw it he would never get on a quad again.lol

He even pulled of the track on the first lap of the fifty race because a yellow
flag came out, while he was in third place..
for some reason the flag's at the finish line confuse him..

I guess we will just chalk this weekend up to bad luck.
