ok i was lookin at his 450r... and what the hell is that can on the head pipe for hes on a DASA exhaust. what does that do? thanks

theres a vid of his work shop and at 40 seconds is a thing i have it paused at 40 seconds... you'll see what im talking about its just like a boost bottle that is welded to the head pipe.

It is a expansion chamber that is suppose to quiet down the exhaust without robbing h/p to meet the db's for the races.

He has had it for a few seasons now and some other riders also have a similar setup on different brands of quads, there is a few threads in this forum about that expansion chamber.

I want one. Sooner or later there's going to be ridiculously low DB restrictions for racing. and quiet core just aren't going to cut it

what the ****? most all the tracks i've been to are out in the middle of no where and theres like no people and they just ***** about the quads running when were already on 96Db and most the guys are stuck running stock exhust. because the aftermarket systems with quiets arnt ****ing it for the people around the tracksthat are at leas 5 miles a way or more... i would have to be like a new push lawn mower to them... its makein me mad...

I'd like to try one of the DASA pipes,but I just can't see them being worth what they cost. Guess I'll stick with my SPARKS pipe.
