okay, I don't see what's so wrong about it, he races harescrambles and has already broke the black plastic mesh thing, he doesnt want a headlight, and wanted shaved fenders to see his tires through the woods, and wanted a better bumper, everyone *****ed about how the front looked with the big fenders now everyone is *****ing about this, so thanks for really dissapointing my dad cuz he was just trying to get protection from rocks and trees, and still look good, he was very proud and wanted me to post pictures so badly now I did, I want to see someone else be diffrent and custom make somthing that would look any better, but yet let me guess your just going to wait and buy somthing that one day everyone will else have

X2..It's just the front grill. The rest of the stuff is great and quality pieces.

Don't put stuff on the internet if you don't want people's opinion. it is ugly and you asked for it putting it on the site. Who cares what people think, well you do obviously. I am sure your dad will get over it. :rolleyes:

Why do those 700's have the long nose piece ?? cause without that would look just like the 450r

Thanks all my dad wanted was opinions, and we will work on the nose piece, we just dont need people bashing it telling us that it looks ugly, we wanted ideas, so thanks for the comment

without the long nose piece it leaves many things un protected! he tried running it without anything but a few blows my rocks made him quickly fab this up

actually I dont care what people say, I have just been typing and doing this all inspite of my dad, and I hate to see people bash my father and all I wanted to do was make and see him happy , I wanted peoples opinion, but telling us its ugly doesnt really help us make it look any better, :rolleyes:

Actually it seems as though you DO care about what people say because you are awfully defensive. There is nothing wrong with wanting your quad to look different than everyone else's, just don't expect everyone to like it. Remember, opinions are like a**holes, everyone's got one!

If you think it has to big holes, just mount an alu net behinde it. Then the alu net will "glisten" behinde the black plate:devil:

I wasn't bashing your dad or his craft machine/metal work. I understand that sometimes you break stuff and have to fix or replace it. I actually thought the work came out quite well. In spite of this though I still don't like how it looks.

Again it's not the craftmanship of your fathers, it just a subjective thing. I also totally understand being in your shoes thinking it was the coolest thing ever.

ok to be honest with you guys to me all the 700s are ugly just my thought of them.. but with the metla plate black and the faec in it it looks actully kind of cool ha it would look sick but that metal pice infront is to long it reminds me of a transformer for some reason ha.

i think the front grill is awsome. and it looks great. who cares what they have to say its not there quad. i think it was very smart of your dad to make something different.it helps protect the front of the quad more than any bumper or plastic. if i had one i would want the same thing ure dad has on his on mine.he has the nicest 700 i have seen yet. looks great and i bet it performs well. i dont understand why people are bashing the quad.theres dosent look any better. tell your dad to make something like that for ure 450r. i really like it.:macho good job

What is wrong with the idiot light holder? It lines up straight with the bars. (The bars are turned in the picture )

I'm not a fan of the front metal piece but like the fenders cut down, that looks better than stock. All that extra plastic on the stock units looks horrible IMO. What is located under the front nose that needs protection? A quad tech hood and relocating the parts up front (if you can) would look very good.

i like the fenders cut like that. the craftsmanship on the quad looks good. the front grill is cool but looks alittle too much like a midevil weapon for my tastes. still cool though. your dad did a good job.

On a serious note though I think I like the all black instead of red and black. Heard they handle awesome but fly terrible and have an electric type power to them like a 400. Gonna test one stock and slightly modded tomorrow.
