I'd put mine in if;

1. I ever got around to creating a photobucket account so i could show off my ride.

2. Spent another $2k in mods and/or the sleeper/used, dirty, scratched and rusty 'Frankenquad' ever became the in thing.

3. I actaully thought I might have a chance. :ermm:

Same here, I love my ole' 400 and all but i dont think i have the slightest chance. Maybe i could pull off one vote though. (hopefully you can vote for yourself)

i'd try entering if i had a new bumper and a 450..:o as stupid and depressing as it is, 400's don't stand a chance in the open months anymore. its all about the 450s :rolleyes:

Tons of quad owners enter their quads just to see if they can muster one or two votes, while there are only two or three quads that really stand out. If every 400EX with different tires, nerf bars, and/or a few spray painted parts entered than each might get 1 to 5 votes. People know before entering if the have a shot at winning. Some quads that I see entered don't stand a chance. I entered an open month when I first got my quad and got trounced!

If we could decide to vote for ONE 400EX than we might stand a chance of winning. Otherwise, enter every 400EX and vote on your own quad and lose. I compare it to putting 10 people in a 3 person canoe. It's going to sink, just like a 400EX's chance of winning an open QOTM month. Your only hope is to photograph a pretty girl (with out a helmet) on your quad and you'll be a shoe in.

I say go for it! If your quad stands out from the pack then throw it in and see what happens. Its good to have more entries. You never know what will happen. Hell, our quad won it with out a motor..:D

I say you have a better chance winning in the ex or the 400cc class but not in a open class 450's dominate it always, like hornet I have also went in the open class an have gotten a few votes but its never enough to win.

My quad is not done yet i need to powder coat a few things then i it will be ready to go, I think it actually looks pretty awesome we can all vote on mine in a few months if you want. The only things stock on my bike are the frame and the subframe lol.
