want a quad running or not

Im looking for a quad with a low initial cost that i can buy and fix myself. It has to be complete though and I would prefer it didnt need any body/chassis work. If its a 4 stroke i'll take 400cc-up and for a 2 stroke 250cc-up Thanks

i know you said 400 and up for a four stroke but i have a 250x im looking to get rid of for 800 bucks it just needs a piston and rings which is an easy fix it runs as it is now just smokes like a mosquito fogger. i was going to replace them and sell it for a whole lot more but if you wanted it and cant find anything else i'd get rid of it for 800 bucks as it sits...let me know

well i am in the same boat as the last post u said that u want a 400 or up but i have a 1998 300ex is has brand new itp rims and tires on the back,renthal handel bars,dg front and back bumper,dg exaust,ufo plastic,handgauards,top end sprocket front and back......but just like the last guy mine needs rings put in it and i will take 600 for it

i have a honda 400ex thats a 426 with houser +2 a-arms, lonestar +4 axle, 450r front shocks, black maier race plastic with quad tech carbon fiber hood, brand new front brakes lines, clutch cable, and steering stem. Looking to get 2k out of it.
