HEy everyone,
I currently have a fmf powercore 4 on my 416, i repacked it when i rebuilt the engine bout a month ago. once i fired it up, i remembered how loud the pipe is (even with the powerbomb).
I thought it was crappy packing, so i did some research on what other packing i could use in it. I have tried 3 different types of packing, and all have not changed much in terms of DB reading.
I currently have the q-series packing in there, seems to be quieter, but still too loud.
So now my question: What slip on will lower the DB reading to around 94 DB? (other than stock) I have tried searching, but no manufacturer list the DB readings for their pipes.
if anyone has a list of pipes and their DB readings, i sure could use it!!!
