Clutch slippin

i was riding at kentucky sandpit, and well i was going up some hills that have bumps at the bootom and throw you off and at the very top you either get lucky or roll back down, well at the very top each 7 times or so i hit the top but not like i was supposed to like other people, well anyways it made a strage metal to metal noise then lugged out then pulled in the clutch and just click to first and made it, i was wondering what is the deal with my bike, is it supposed to do this, i dont think its ever done it before but i used to ride everyday and i probably just got used to it and didtn think anything about it, since i ride only on sundays or saturdays, i started to n oticed more things,

by the way i do drag race sometimes now i used to do it all the time if this explains the promblem...
