carb mod??

While i was at the local mx shop heard some guy talking about a carb mod that adds more fuel or something suppose to give it more throt response wasnt paying attention well engh but is it something i should look into?

There is a quickshot accelerator pump but a leak jet will do the same for about 5 bucks.

This is only my .02. The bigger leak jet will work but if you put a powerpump on you don't have the problem of ripping your whole carb out to change it again as the powerpump is adj. Now the stock bowl doesn't hold enough fuel to stop the decavitation, but the powerpump does. Its worth it and the remote air screw, as your fingers will love you for it. Only my .02.

Once you change the leak jet you should never have to change it again, to each there own i think it's just a waste of money for the quickshot.

I got wirtz racing quickshot pump cover and it did help with down low bogging, but I also went to a bigger leak jet. Boysen makes a pump shot cover for like 60 wich is outrageous. If you want top notch though, there is a company making an ajdustable leak jet. I think that is unneccessary, but hey, to each their own.
