Im thinking of trying to trade my 2k5trx450r for a YFZ but i was wondering? is the stock suspension good engh to race on because i know for the trx u pretty much have to do something with the suspension asap if ur going to race at all

i race atv b with ajusted stock shocks. I guess it depends on what kind of racing you do. they are pretty good shocks for stock.

The stock shocks on the YFZ are awesome - especially the 08's. I raced for over a year with stock suspension (MX - Novice/Int classes) as well as some desert races......Excellent race quad, stock or not.....get one!

Yeah i see alot of people at the local track running stock YFZ shocks and they dont seem to be hitting near as hard as i do on my stock honda shocks and i just dont have the extra 1k-2k$ right now to upgrade

Get a YFZ you will like it and you can race it stock but upgrading the suspension you will be better..Iam about to get suspension for my YFZ.

Just get one of the new KTM Quads, you`ll be happy with it if you want to race mx.
