Ok so ive been getting parts on my budjet MX build So far i got new itp 8" rear wheels, mx6 tires all the way around, moose nerfs , lonestar axle, and fmf exhaust all costed a little less than 1k so i only have about 500$ left and i was wondering I can get a used rear axis shock for cheap and get the fronts revalved and resprung by GT thunder or... the other way around witch will be more important? front or rear?

OK going with axis rear but...for the front is it worth 395$ for the GT thunder conversion or just get the dual rate spring kit from them for 225$?

The main thing you need to get is a different linkage for the rear. This is what causes the bucking that the 450r is known for. I say send all three off to GT Thunder (or the likes), and run his linkage.

Also is it worth the extra 170$ to get the front shock conversion or should i just get the dual rate spring kit?

If you can only do one do the rear.

x2, you on the rear more than the front. Both work together but from my experience a better rear shock with crappy fronts is faster and performs better than something with good fronts and a decent rear. I have my 400ex rear shock setup as best as I can and I have 450r fronts setup as best as I can too. My brother has stock 400ex fronts which are terrible and a Works remote rezzie preload adjustable rear shock. Riding his feels like floating until the front dips down lol but he can get the power to the ground over bumps because his rear stays planted and mine tends to want to jump up more and i end up revving in the air instead of on the ground.
