i don't think so, but i'm not 100%. i think the 450r has a larger shock body than the 400ex.

no the 450r shock is shorter. Just getting springs won't make the shock any better anyway you need to get them revalved

no. dual rate just makes it so at the top part of the travel it is softer. The rebound will be all messed up. Besides if you get 450r springs for a 400ex shock they won't be the right size

i got a 450r shock and its goin on my blaster but that spring kit would still improve it to make it like a dual rate right ?

it may make it worse. the 450r shock isn't made for a blaster anyway, especialy if its not revalved for it, those springs will just mess up the whole thing more.

Please use the correct components for the machine. It's bad enough putting shocks from a different quad with a completely different setup on your machine, but now you want to mix two separate shocks and make one.... bad idea.

A spring kit alone will not make it all that better, you really need to get the valving to go with it to make a shock perform like it should.
