Hi there, i just bought a new 450R since they stole my last one....

but my stock 05 with only HRC kit was hard to kick! my new one already have a piston 13:1 , curtis cams and exhaust and it'ss way easier to kick. i dont mean it's start easier but it can almost be kicked by hand rather then the foot.

does the engine starting to die? or is it only the kicker system that is comming worn ?

it's look like a newbs question haha !

Valves need adjusting probably.

Is it hard to start? Unless it is on the compression stroke it shouldn't be hard to push down.

Sounds like your decompressor valve needs to be adjusted.

it's start very quickly... one kick and it's done.

does curtis cams still use the decompression system ?

and compression is awesome i think... it's have 210psi !
