Around here about 8-11,000. For a real nice one.
98-02 was the ls1
93-97 was the lt1
How many miles? Prices differ greatly. I'd say 10-13 grand would get you a 2000 or newer with less than 70k miles.

better keep on going up....yea about 8-11k for 1 that has been abused....a low mileage and i mean within the 15k range mileage is going to run you up in the 20s and 30s depending on the year, and the package....RS,Z28, or SS

around here you can buy an ls1 car for about 9k-16k depending.
Z/28 about $5,000-$12,000
SS before 2000 is about $10-15,000
2000-2002 SS is from $15,000+
That's around here though. A 35th Anniversary SS will cost you $20k+ around here which is what I'm saving up for.

Once the new Camaro comes out next in a few monthes prices on LS1's should come down a few thousand. They will no longer the last and fastest camaro. I'm hoping to pick up a 2000 Z28 in a couple years for under $4000 for a drag/street project. I'm already saving for the 2010 SS and should be getting that next september or so.

I'm waiting for the new ones to come out before I buy mine also. I'm hoping the 2002 35th Ann. SLP will drop a couple thousand. I got $13,000 saved up so far but the SLP's are $20+ around here.

I heard the base model will be an I-4Turbo, pushing 240hp, the v6 will be pushing around 300, and I can only imagine the v8 having around 400.
GM is being aboustouly ridiculous with the Camaro, by the time it comes out, no one is going to want one.

By the time they come out , GM will have folded . More job cuts announced last week ... more plant closures to try and get them out of their billion dollar debts. It sure ain't looking good for them.
On the up-side to all this ... the new Camaro does look pretty sweet. Let's just hope that they don't change the production version too much over their prototypes.

Here's a production camaro. They should be out around the first of the year. GM is banking on this car to help pull them out of the rut. The base engine is a 300 horse 3.6 V6 and will get some where around 28mpg's, there are two V8's a 395 horse AFM (shuts off 4 cylinders on the highway) with an auto and a 425 horse with the six speed stick. The turbo I-4 won't be out till next year. This car was designed to be world class in performance, quality, and economy so it should sell well. The price range is supposed to be 23,000-35,000.
