I'm looking for the pros and cons on the aftermarket plastics for the 250rl. I know of maier, fullbore, l.a.customs. Are there any more good ones? I know everybody has different opinions on styling and colors but I'm mainly worried about quality, durability, fitment, and customer service. I would like to hear what you guys have had good or bad luck with.

Fitment on the fullbore fronts when using a desert tank is non-existent UNLESS you do not mind cutting :(

I have Fullbores on one of my R's and I think it fits as good as stock.

the lakers are great and a little stiffer then the fullbore.

My vote is for fullbores. I have never had Lakers.
Fit and refinish ability was always really good on the fullbores.

If you plan on running stock 88/89 style headlight, you may want to consider Maier.
I have fullbores now but plan to pick up a set of Maier Std Fronts for dune riding.

Mine came with full bores, RED, and they where so oxidated they where almost grey. A heat gun made them look new and I put an over sized clark on it and used the heat gun and some tiedowns and they mold perfect to the new take, but you will need a new set if you switch back to the stock tank.
