hello everyone, im the proud new owner of a 1987 warrior, its in great condition and after riding it a couple days I love the thing. came up with a couple questions,

Once your moving, to shift gears do you always have to use the clutch? I have been using clutch everytime but noticed it will switch without the clutch too...

And a general ATV question, whats the best way to cross the railroad tracks if I have no way to avoid it? I just lifted the whole thing over one tire at a time, hahaha, I know this can be dangerous!

thanks!!

Don't have to use the clutch, but I perfer too. I dunno if it could hurt anything.

If you can't just drive over the tracks, sometimes you can pop the front up to get it over the first rail then just keep pushing with the throttle. Other than that your best bet is to pick the front end up with the bumper and pull until your back tires are touching the rail, then move to the grab bar and lift/shove.
