Ds 450 motor?????

Could someone help me with this one.

Is can am DS450 is a svx aprilia 450 bottom motor?And if so which year?

Cause if it is, Aprilia after marquet parts should work??

I would like to buy a REKLUSE clutch,but they dont supplie can am clutch,but they have one for the aprilia 450.So maybe it could fit?

No the DS motor and the Aprilia SVX450 motor share absolutely nothing in common ones a single and the others a twin, but Can-Am did borrow some of the cylinder head technology from the Aprilia RSV1000 V-Twin Crotchrocket Engine.

Well tho no one has done it yet. If you do some research the RSV has the same bore and stroke as the ds450. And I don't really know if the parts will interchange but CP pistons makes a big bore for the RSV. If you do the math and apply that to the ds450 I think it comes out to like 550cc.
