Problem?

there looks to be oil leaking out of the engine and is running down the side on my friends 99 400ex would there be some gasket out or something. has this happened to anyone else. is it a major problem. Thanks

It sounds like a head cover gasket. They go bad a lot when the bolts get striped from being over tightened. Its not expensive or complicated to fix unless a lot of the bolts are messed up.

Look to see where the leak is coming from, it could be a head gasket also.
