when having shocks from a honda trx 450r redone by derisi racing, gt thunder or one of the other many great companies are they setting them up zero preload or limited mass?? which is better for xc racing/aggressive trail riding?? I like the low ride height you see many trick xc quads running.

We offer a triple rate zero preload setup that would lower your atv like the xc quads you are talking about. As for which setup is better zero preload or preloaded. A preloaded setup will ride a little softer on the small bumps because it has more progression in the spring curve, but you don't get the lower ride height so it is a personal perference.

If you decide to change it out the tender springs aren't to expensive to buy later.
