HC stage 1 whit XR400 headgasket? changue the timming?

i read in hotcams, that if i put a thinner headgasket whit hotcams, change the timming cam?

is better XR headgasket whit hotcams?

or no change the timming?

If you put the thinner xr gasket or even no gasket with any cam and it will advance the timing. It wont hurt anything though. I have had it done to mine for years with no problems.

It will actually retard the cam timing and in general it will lead to greater high rpm gains.

Thats what I meant. I was looking at two threads when I posted. The other was talking about a rev box. OPPS! Either way, I havent had any problems.
