I jsut got a LSR swing arm and my quad is 7 months old. Should i get a new pivot bolt or just use the one i have?

Does it look worn? If not, use it. Be sure run a shotgun bore brush through the hole with some Bel-Ray waterproof grease on it, and grease the bolt as well.

Just reuse the old one. A new one will not provide any benefit. Did you get a longer swingarm? I have the +1 and love it.

Whenever I take my swingarm pivot bolt out, I put marine grade never-seize on it before I put it back in.

the best thing to do is this. Weld one end shut, and put a grease fitting on the other side. Drill some very small holes where the sleeves sit on the bolt and then u have a greasable bolt. It takes about 20 min. to do and u never have to worry about getting the bolt stuck again, plus it keeps the operation 100Xs smoother

i was thinking about doing that myself, wouldent it weaken the bolt?
