i have a 07 r and iv been doing some xc for sometime are the 05 spindles a solid upgrade from the 07 ones??

They say they are. Lots of people are doing it. I know I would like to do the same thing on my '07. I was riding an '05 before I got my '07 and the first thing I noticed was how it steered differently. And defineatly not for the better.

i ride an 06.. one of the first things i did was put on the aarms and got ahold of some 05 spindles... the front end on the 06 and newers' push real bad.. i believe it's from the outside wheel turning in more then the inside.. if i remember correctly.. i hated it. **** was way too tippy. especially in the woods and ruts. its worth the investment, a minor one at that..

Yeah, I cant wait to do my '07. I've hit a few treees trying to get used to it after learning how to ride on an '05. So, you have to do the A-arms too? I thought it was just the Spidles?

Are the hubs and brakes interchangable? I was thinking of this same swap.

the hubs are different but the calipers and brake disks are the same.

you need 04/05 spindles, hubs. if you are using stock a-arms you need those(or maybe just uppers,i cant remember). if you are going to aftermarket a-arms you should be good with just spindles and hubs due to adjustability. and yes it will turn a hundred times better. do a search there is a ton of threads on this.

Spindles, hubs. If your running stock arms you need the uppers. Some aftermarket will work with both, but not all of them. Check before a switch is made or you buy arms.

so only upper a arms differ?? when using aftermarket would you buy say then for an 05?? are the shocks the same??

i put the 05 spindles, on 05 burgard +2+1's, on my 06.. everything worked excellent.. the shock mounts are the same

Yes buy arms for a 05 if using the 05 spindles. You do need the 05 hubs. Shocks are the same however.

The 05 setup is definitely the way to go.
