Hey, I was riding slow wheelies yesterday and went back to far and the grab bar snapped right off. Is there a stronger after market one available?

Nope it won't work. The 06-up use the grab bar for the exhaust mount.

Ok thanks, I'm talking to the guy to get the correct on. I just hope the PMR is stronger than stock.

should be stronger, but keep in mind that the grab is made to break to save the subframe. so dont make a steel grab bar because it will tweak the frame.

Use the back brake lol if you can master the back brake you can wheelie all day.

Yeah, I was on the brake. I was trying to balance it so I could do slow wheelies and it just tipped backward. When it tipped back the grab bar broke right off. Well, the PRM is on the way.

Thats right, I just broke my subframe and its damn sure more expensive than a grab bar. Something that will save your grab bar is this little lever called the "back brake."

damn dude just bought the bike and already ripped the grab bar off...dont worrie im guilty of it too...actually that grab bar on there was brand new i had just put it on there 2 weeks before i sold the bike to you. i was going to buy a new tail light but they were expensive.

how you liking the 450r power??

on my 400ex the grab bar is part of the subframe and I havent seen a bent grab bar tweak the subframe yet. I have only seen 1 grab that was bent slightly up from a wheelie.

That's because it's steel. The 450R has an aluminum subframe to shed weight, which is why a 450R weighs less than the 400ex.

Putting on stronger grab bars means your grab bar will last longer, but your subframe will bend and crack easier.

I prefer the weaker grab bar, it's a lot cheaper.
