gas tank help

my gas tank has old gas in it its over a year old can i still run it if not what is the best way to go about draining it

i wouldnt run it. the best way to get the gas out is to remove the cap and pour it out.

o ok see i just got my first four wheelr so i thought it was like the oil and you could just unscrew something and let it drain so you just remove and tip it

just pull that hose that goes to your carb and clamp the same size hose but longer on the gas tank part and then put the other end of the long hose into a jerry can and turn your gas to reserve and it should all drain out then go with the jerry can and go lite somthing on fire haha
