Can someone explain how compression effects power on a A/C 50. (what does higher compression do compared to lower compression). I was wondering what a good compression reading should be and how to gain compression. My reading is about 120. Will a squish test let me know if I have room to work on the head? If so what is a good squish clearance for this bike?

I would look for around 130-135 PSI for compression on a stock head and the clearance we use .028


Using a quality compression guage and the same length insert as the plug is critical to get a sound reading.


Too much compression a 50 can be bad.....I would think that 155-165 is about the max we would want to go
