How much extra HP "with these mods"

I'm about to order the HRC kit for my 08 450ER.
Also, anywhere on the internet for best prices on the HRC???

How much hp increase will I be getting if I get the

-Hrc kit minus header pipe
-Sparks Racing full exhaust

So cam,full exhaust,jetting,airbox mod?

Will this be a lot faster.

you'll get a few extra HP, maybe 3-5 tops. One thing the HRC kit is going to do is liven up the throttle response. Check ebay, I bought my kit for dirt cheap on there.

The only thing I have left installed from the HRC kit is the cam and that will soon go too. I have all the parts but with the mods I have done it is being deleted. Kinda wish I would have gone aftermarket from the beginning. Guess it depends on how far your gonna mod it and how much hp you need.

You have an 08 as I do and just the HRC kit will really wake it up. Not only does the kit give you more power but it uses different timing pattern and opens the rev limiter. The best I found the HRC kit was for 309.00 on ebay. But you can buy each individual piece depending on how your gonna build it.

Actually Honda claims an almost 10 hp increase on the 2006+ model HRC kit. you should run about 47-49 hp. stock being 38ish. So i would assume you will have around 49-51 hp with the full sparks. Some even claim a bit more with the higher end exhausts like sparks.

so you say it makes those high numbers 48-51 hp from 38 stock that's a big difference! So you will be able to tell a major difference in power!!!

Ya it's pretty crazy how much Honda corks these bikes up at the factory!!

make sure you get a cam that fits the 08. They moved the autodecompressor on the 08, so 07 hrc cam wont fit. just saving you a headache if you didnt know this already....

Im not so sure about 48-51 horsepower....thats up there...

Yup....I just looked it up. Honda claims about 50 horses. But most dynos "only" get 49. This is only peak power though. The whole powerband is drastically improved. This is just on the 06+ models though...the Motor, Carb, and spindles and other little things were changed in 06.

On the 04-05 models hp was way lower and the HRC kit wasnt as big a difference. Stock was like 34 and HRC kit gave around 42 i think...
