What kind of cam should I get stage 1,2,or 3? ??

Depends on where your looking for power.

1. Low to mid

2. Mid to top

3. For use on a 440, Top end till the rev limiter

I agree with the other post it really depends. are u going to make yours a 440?

I run the stage 2 for MX. With the 440 it makes up for the bottom end a bit. I don't think you will like a stage 1 in the 440.

my 440 had a stg1 when i got it then i went to a stg3. you def dont want the stg1. the stg 3 is pretty nice for top end but i noticed a considerable low end loss, and with the 400ex even with the stg 3 your still not making that great of power on top end. so id say the stage 2 also. but ive heard good things about other cams then hotcams too. but i think hotcams is the only one yoiu can run with stock valvetrain
