I have for sale my 2nd LTR450 – I was going to build this bike up to compete in some MX (since I'm a XC racer on my other xc- LTR), but since Gas prices have gone crazy its time to sell this bike and concentrate on my XC season and race bike
As soon as I got the bike I pulled the whole motor and sent it down to Rage ATV in TX (builder of a lot of the top MX guys). Dee Ported and Polished the head, decked it to raise the compression up a little, then Degreed the cams and put everything back together and then sent it back! So this is a 100% built motor from Rage- you can call Dee and confirm everything I just said- he has built a couple of motors for me over the past few seasons. The motor has a custom map installed from Rage and comes with the Yoshimura PIM module. The total cost for the build and controller was just under $1000.
The bike has just less than 8hrs on it – I had an hr meter on it and showed 7.8hrs to be exact. Everything looks brand new and the motor is crazy fast!
The rest of the bike is back to 100% stock!
I will have a bunch of aftermarket parts available soon that I had installed on it before.
I am located in central NJ and have the TITLE
The bike was bought for around $7400 plus the $1000 into the engine- I am taking a big hit- but something I must do right now.
