the cam profile is the main difference in the engine...my 08 runs a LOT stronger than my 06.

I just got a throttle body from an 08 to go on my 06. If i read the micrometer right it was almost 45mm but my mic was measuring inches so I had to convert. Stock throttle body on 06 & 07 was 43mm.

What range does the cam in the 08 make better power than the 07?

I'm confused on what you mean by throttle body being bigger

I'm not sure on the exact number difference...but I do know my 08 with only a CP piston in will pull on an 07 with a race head. I have no problem at all pulling holeshots in the A class.

I dont even like riding my 06 now, it doesnt even feel fast enough to give me a work out, feels like im hopping on a john deere

The opening where the butterfly is. The round flat slide that opens when you give it gas. 06 and 07 have a 43mm opening and 08 has about a 45mm opening. its just like a car.

Throttle Body: The opening is bigger on 08. Similar to puttin a 450r carb on a 400ex.
