View Full Version : twist vs thump throttle part 2
ok got the twist on the quad last week, rode 2 times its taking a little to get used to twisting instead of pushing, first thing I noticed is the twist is slower to throttle up, instead of just punching it you have to twist and it seems to take a second longer to reach full throttle, and in certain positions it can feel a little akward. but you do seem to have a better grip and good control in most situations, will report back when I get I first race in. so far the jury is still out as to which is better. I run a Terry Cable Dual Gasser ($120.00). It's both a twist and thumb throttle. It's a 1/4 twist throttle so it's pretty sensitive.
yeah I wondered if the 1/4 turn would be a little too quick, I am going to put a bit more free play in my motion pro and see if that helps when hitting braking bumps. Bill
