Jumped Timing.......

Any of you ever had your quad jump timing?

Took my 06 to the local track for a little fun. Will admit I was pounding on it, but out of nowhere it died. Got it running again and then it died again. Brought it home, ripped it apart and found the timing to be off.

Did the hrc kid and a 03 crf cam last jan/feb. It's run beautiful all the way til now. Weird or possible??

its very possible.............Check your tensioner and i would go ahead and replace the timing chain..............I stretch them all the time.

Really?? Was hoping for a quick easy timing fix. The chain is nice and tight on the sprocket still. Will have to check it out even further though.

Hopefully will be getting to this tomorrow before work.

No one else has had this happen though?
