And if you do what is the normal running temp? At what temp should I start to worry?

xr's only sells them. I think they are 40.00

I have one of the XR's Only Dip Sticks. Mine usually runs anywhere between 225 to 275. Anything over 300 is bad. Oils start to break down over 300.

Hornetgod did you notice a change in temp after the engine mods?

Yes, it runs about 20 degrees hotter.

hornetgod13, if i remember right, you tested to see if air scoopd actually worked and got good results? what was the total drop in temp?

It really boils down to your riding style. To benefiet from air scoops you need to ride pretty fast. Different riding style will see different results. I saw a 10 to 20 degree drop in my oil temp once they were installed.

The air scoop is the metal sheets that goes on the side of the rad 2 increas air flow right? Where can u get those?
