really tossing up the idea of what size holeshots to get. i love the look of the small tires. but my quads not lowered or widened. im not sure. i ride trails. thats about it. clearance isnt an issue. im going for look and handling. what doyou guys think. i dont wana talk about the models of holshots. just the tire size.

You said trail riding so I would def do a 20" rear for added clearance. 18" tires are usually only for racing.

well im runing i belive 22" itp black waters. there probly a good 10 or 15lbs a peice. its disgusting. half my torque is gone there. the stocks were incredibly lighter. and throttle responce was so much better. i ddint buy the tires. they came on there. long story short. i hate them. and just trying to see what you guys have. and how you like them

Well what wheels are you running with these as well? That will also factor in how much weight and power to get them turning. You say clearance isn't an issue, well right now it wouldn't be if your running a 22" tire, but that one day you run into some ruts or rocks and get hung up your gonna be kicking yourself you didn't get 20" tires. Like I said before 18" is primarily only for track use because the clearance isn't an issue. Trail riding is totally different, who knows what rock or tree branch, etc is gonna be there, besides you can go with a great set of ITP GNCC's in 20x9 and call it a day, they are a great tire to run and I wouldn't switch for anything on the trail. If you run a 18" rear you better have a good skid plate and chain skid plate or your gonna screw some stuff up.

I have 18's and 19's up front and i cant even back my bike off my truck with ramps because my frame hits. I have to push it off without me on it. I have a lifted truck though and only 6ft ramps. My bike is also widened and sits a lot lower than stock.

i have a set of 20x10 gncc holeshots theyre awesome they get gobs of traction and theyre real low profile, i put them next to my brothers set of 20x11 turf tamers and mine have a shorter sidewall than his turf tamers. i ride really rough, rutted, and rocky trails and i never hit my sprocket or rotor and i dont have any skidplates. they handle like a set of 18's
