Iam just curious if its possible to put a blaster engine in a 250x/300ex frame. if so how hard would it be and has anybody ever done it.thx

What advantages do you see to doing this. Seems like it might be a complicated processes for marginal gains. Not trying to knock what you want to do just wondering why you want undertake this task.

I didnt say I was going to do it, im just curious how hard it would be, and if i did do it i would defintaly get a 240 or a 265 kit for it. So how hard do u think it would be

the 250's frame is designed for a narrow 4 stroke header...thats the only hard part...muffler system...makin motor mounts would be easy

yeah thats the only thing i was wondering about, could somebody make a exhaust for it. nobody probally makes a exhaust for that conversion do they.

I dont know, my friends got a 94 blaster engine in his garage and i was just wondering if it would fit in a 250x frame. Just wondering, thats all.

well you could prolly get someone to make the pipe but it will more than likkly cost an arm and a leg just becasue a 2 stroke pipe you have to have the perfect eexpansion champer and its pretty hard to make but then a 4 stroke muffler is just pipe and easy to make i think that doing it might be worht it but will cost a decent amount of money

blaster engine have a lot better kick too them and they are ten times more fun and the only thing the blaster lacks for its class is a chassy, and thats where the 250x would come in and than my friend is WHY

Yep thats what I was thinkin too! After the expantion chamber leading u to the silencer, is that just a pipe or it that part of te expantion chamber? Thx

i think it would be rather easy, untill the pipe part comes along. then you may run into some difficulties but it wouldnt be anything HUGE to do i dont believe.... i think that would make the 250x kick arse, because i loved my 300ex, *handling* an it just needed a bit better shocks...
