I just bought a complete motor set up, everything from the electical to motor to pipe. It came with a Sparks MX pipe. Where does this pipe make it's power?? It looks like the motor is Ported. So I am wondering what porting it has. Figuring that it is ported to match the pipe or Vice or versa.

I have not ran this pipe before, but to my understanding, you will want to hang on to it! the power if i remember right, is smooth, broad, great for throttle response and midrange. sparks discontinued that pipe a good while back, and they are tough to come by, especially in decent shape.

it's a low-MID pipe that still pulls decent on top. great pipe!

cdrookie is correct on the power curve for the pipe very good pipe for mx/woods very smooth power with decent overrev for haviing such smooth low-mid Power.

Was my favorite pipe over the different pipes I tried and those pipes included ESR, LRD adjustable, FMF, and a dynoport.

If I had to rank pipes I used.

1. Sparks MX,
2. Paul turner (never owned but rode a few r's with the low end Tractor pipe)
3. Lrd,
4. Esr (really quality pipes still available for many differnt riding styles)
5. Dynoport (Good mx pipe)
6. FMF
