I got a cast LSR carrier off ebay for $130. It's a good carrier.

cast's are c**p!, save yourself the agonay and spend $129 on a RAD mfg billet aluminum carrier on ebay(double row), with an external grease fiting, kinda dumb taking ur whole rear end apart to grease it... i love mine!!

Got a RAD. So far, it's lasted my abuse. External zerk accesible through the sprocket spokes. $130 on ebay! Had a Lonestar with an external zerk, but it was still located 'inside' the carrier holder when it was all put back together, defeating the prupose of the external zerk. You still had to take the whole damn thing out to grease it. not so with the RAD.

A little OT, but when I loosened the allen bolts to adjust my chain this weekend, I saw water drip out of the bottom of the swing arm.Thought Osht,
Slid the carrier out and the air space between the center of the carrier and swingarm was full of water. I just put my billet twinrow carrier in about 2 months ago. Are there any tricks to keep water out or maybe do I have an O-ring missing or something?
Ive got the internal zerk fitting, and the good news is when I greased it, it passed good clean grease through the seals, so no water got into the bearings.
Is there anything I can do to keep water out, or do I just need to service more often??

it dont really matter but you could get some grease and spred it around the outside edge of the carrier so it has a better seal, and check tht both of the plugs are still in on the front of the swinger by the bolt, if there gone its kinda a big hole.... hope tht helps
