Raptor Rebuild?

Ok I've had my 03 raptor 660 for a bit now. The only engine mods it has is the HD transmission kit and a Twin Air powerflow kit. I have about 280 hours on it and I was wondering if rebuilding the motor would help the performance. I'm not sure if its just me because I just bought a street bike but it seems like it may be lacking some power since the first day I bought it. What is the cheapest way to rebuild an engine? Thanks

more than likely its all in ur head... i know the feeling from goin to a streetbike to a quad.... the quad just feels slow... but just to be sure run a compression test and see where ur at....
