last week i put a heavier flywheel in & theres was a bunch of chunks of rubber on the inside of the flywheel. also there was oil on the stator, is that normal? shouldn"t the stator be dry? i'm guessing that the crank seal is blown & letting in oil. i put it back together & it ran fine that day. today i took it out & the battery died. got it home & checked & its not charging. so my questions are
1) should there be oil in the flywheel/ stator compartment?
2)chunks of rubber , is there anything other than the crank seal that it could be from?
3) what would cause the crank seal to blow apart like that?
