Normal Engine "noise"

A friend was riding my 2005 Blaster and told me that it sounded like the piston was "slapping" the head. I have owned the machine since day one and it always made a lot of noise. What does piston slap sound like?? How do I tell if he is right??

that is just the way 2-strokes sound. they run rougher due to the different process the engine goes through to make power. 4 -strokes are more advanced engines.
