Hey everyone. I'm looking to do some work to my 300ex. I want to bore it .080 and do some cam and carb work with a full exhuast. Who here runs the 297 bore, and how do you like it?

never personally built a 300ex with a .80 over piston but i can tell you that your gonna get most of you increase from increased compression,
a 400ex carb a GOOD full exhaust and the RIGHT cam will make all the difference in the world.

I was thinking, a 400ex carb into a ported and polished head with hard weld internals, with an 11:1 piston, out a supertrapp.
